We were the first ones to see the scams that other companies are trying to pass off to the desperate people that are in foreclosure or close to it.  It's a shame when these people go to a webinar or a live seminar, and they get a great hype about a program that offers  them nothing but takes their money and leaves them high and dry.

The banks, scams and all the press that is out there tell them they can't get any help so just give up.  They haven't researched anything about what their rights are and what they should have know when they got that stupid mortgage.  Oh by the way go look up what the true meaning is and where the word Mortgage came from.  What you didn’t know is that in Latin, mori (from the Old French word mort-) means "death" and -gage means "pledge". Thus the words: "death pledge".  Humm! Very interesting isn't it?

WHAT IS A PREDATORY LOAN?
Although there is no universal or clear-cut definition of a predatory loan, experts do agree that it is the result of misleading and coercive tactics deliberately perpetrated upon unsuspecting homeowners (typically on a home equity loan or mortgage refinance) where excessive interest and costs are assessed and/or the loan is made without regard to the homeowner's true ability to repay, which is a state violation (C.R.S. §38-40-105) and federal violation (HOEPA)!!!

 Red Flags Compliant


The Red Flags Rules are a part of section 114 of the Fair and Accurate Credit Transactions (FACT) Act of 2003.

Any Company that works with Consumer Credit is now required to have in place an Identity Theft Prevention program by August 1st, 2009.

Start now it takes time to become compliant.


These prevention measures must be in writing and followed closely or those companies not complying can potentially face large daily fines, civil litigation and ongoing audits by the Federal Trade Commission (not fun!).
